Permanent Position Available: Tractor Operator
Commitment: Minimum 38 hours per week in a rapidly evolving sector.
Role Overview:
This position presents a rare opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking project in macadamia cultivation. You will be limited to mowing, slashing, mulching, to chemical application, but playing a crucial role from the very start of planting. As an experienced machinery operator, you will utilise GPS systems and undertake general repairs and maintenance, ensuring the success of this ambitious venture.
We Seek a Candidate Who:
- Is ready to embrace various work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, working independently or as part of our dynamic team.
- Brings a proactive “can do, will do” attitude to contribute to our culture of innovation and progress.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 12 months of tractor operation experience.
Chemical Knowledge: Familiarity with chemical applications and record-keeping is desirable.
Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts.
Tech-Savvy: GPS experience is highly desirable, or a keenness to learn is necessary.
Location: Ability to work around the Bundaberg area.
Physical Capacity: Able to safely undertake physically demanding tasks.
Licenses: Must possess a current Driver’s Licence. ACDC and HR Forklift Licences are advantageous.
Safety First: Adherence to safety protocols and WHS requirements is mandatory.
