Sorting Shed Shift Supervisor

About the role

Located at Bingera Mill and Bucca, both Macadamia Farm Management Sorting Facilities operate from late January through to October supporting the harvesting season with sorting, drying and distribution of Macadamia Nut.

This opportunity requires a highly motivated and dedicated person to support the management of all aspects of the sorting facility from receiving, drying, sorting, sampling and dispatching. This role is a very challenging role, as such this will suit those who have worked in processing or production line facilities and understands what this type of environment and role this can and will be. Key to this position will be the ability to think on your feet, trouble shoot and lead a team of people whilst moving high volume of Macadamia nuts through the facility on behalf of our investors.

Key Selection Criteria

• Previous experience supervising high-volume sorting, production and or processing facility
• Previous experience coordinating loads for receival and dispatch
• High- level communication, time management and organisational skills
• Ability to complete paperwork and record keeping
• Solid Computer and Microsoft office skills
• Demonstrated ability to be mechanically and technologically minded
• Skilled in people management such as, leading, coaching and mentoring small to medium teams of people
• Current Forklift Licence (desirable not essential)
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends for the duration of the season
