FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: What state is the current Australian Macadamia Industry in?

A: Whilst challenges are plenty, the general long term outlook has great potential. This is mainly driven through increased usage of the nut. Demand is strong, and supply appears to remain weak.

Q: How do I invest in Macadamias?

A: Macadamia Farm Management takes the hassle out of investing in agriculture. As a company we simply find land as a green field site to plant, or find an existing orchard that has potential to return an investment.  When it comes to investing, Macadamia Farm Management compares itself to the share market/real estate market and takes the hassle out of everyday management of your asset.

Q: What are the time frames when investing in Macadamias?

A: Macadamias are a longer term investment. Generally speaking a 10 year commitment is required to generate a healthy return on your investment.

Q: Is Australia the ideal country to invest in such a long term investment?

A: Australia has a very strong economy. The government is stable, with increased vision to see Australian Agriculture grow. Agriculture is a strong industry perfectly situated to provide long term food security into Asia. Water is a strong understated commodity that will provide long term security in the future.

Q: What is the level of global competition within the Macadamia Industry?

A: Macadamias are a longer term investment, restricting early cash flow, and therefore tends to reduce the potential to expand in a 3rd world country. Climate and weather are also major restricting factors when establishing a long term investment. Generally growth is slow, and competition is therefore limited.
